These 6mm - 18 Gauge Jump Lock jump rings are sturdy jump rings that will not come open accidentally. To use, grip the jump ring with two pairs of pliers with the opening at the top. Twist the right side of the ring a quarter-turn away from you and attach your chain, charm or finding onto the Jump Lock. Twist the right side of the ring back toward you, slightly past the closed position. Bring the Jump Lock ring back into the closed position, gently pushing the right side in just enough to make sure that the edges of the two ends make contact with each other. You will hear a tiny click as the jump ring snaps into place.
