I had to write on the package that they were blue, though, because unlike the picture, they are really dark blue and look black in the wrong light. The first time I ordered them, they were a beautiful light cobalt/sapphire color. When I reordered them recently, they are now almost black in color and in no way a match for the cobalt pendant I had in mind. If you want a very dark blue almost black crystal, then this is for you.
